WISDOM TOOTH EXTRACTION

REMOVING THE OBSTRUCTION OF WISDOM TEETH

There are many different reasons why people lose teeth, and likewise, there are many different factors that can affect the process of replacing lost teeth. Wisdom teeth, for instance, frequently become impacted and force themselves against neighboring molars, which can affect the alignment of all of your teeth. If you have impacted wisdom teeth, then Dr. Wright may need to extract them before you can undergo dental implant placement. Though wisdom tooth extraction is often more complex than routine tooth extraction, Dr. Wright and our team have the skills and experience to perform the procedure in-office!

MORE ROUTINE TOOTH EXTRACTION

Impacted wisdom teeth may be the most commonly extracted types of teeth, but in some cases, extracting a problematic incisor, canine, or molar may be necessary to restore excellent oral health. For instance, when severe tooth decay or gum disease makes retaining a tooth impossible, extracting it may be the best option. Afterward, Dr. Wright can replace it with a dental implant to restore your bite function and the beauty of your smile.
