At Just Wright Dental Surgery Center, we do all we can to make sure your visit and treatment are as comfortable and convenient as possible. For routine general and restorative care, we offer a choice of nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation techniques to help you relax and remain comfortable during your treatment. However, dental implant placement requires oral surgery, and in many cases we use IV sedation for its more potent effects.

IV sedation is delivered intravenously, and as the most potent form of sedation, it may cause patients to fall asleep. Therefore, it is always administered with a trained anesthesiologist nearby to constantly monitor your sedation levels as well as your vital signs. Before suggesting IV sedation, Dr. Wright will carefully review your dental and medical history, as well as any existing conditions that may complicate IV sedation.
